Botanical Fantasy

Botanical Fantasy is an installation made under the hypothetical case that Wedgwood - a British ceramics company - was to launch its product line in the city of Bogotá.

It seeks to reflect the concept of the brand as follows: the creation of a fantasy through objects with meaning, through the adaptation to the values of the local audiences. In this sense, each element of the installation was thought, created and arranged in such a way as to generate an experience in which Bogotá citizens could connect with the brand at the launch event.

The botanical inspiration that has characterized Wedgwood was taken into account, and recourse for the design of the assembly was made to the fauna and flora of the region discovered by José Celestino Mutis during the Royal Botanical Expedition. When finding that Mutis wanted to open a new route to export the Bogotá Tea, it was included as a central element of the installation.
