Enigmatic Drives
Enigmatic Drives is an installation displayed in the exhibition Policroísmo: The Poetics of the Vampire in the Rat Trap Cultural House. The montage was carried out based on an editorial piece based on the story El Conde Magnus by Montague Rhodes James and illustrated by Camila Ramírez.
Enigmatic Drives presents the graphical proposition of the illustrator, the process by which she completed it and the mysterious universe behind the story. It is intended for visitors to be attracted to discover what is inside the work, simulating the action of entering a sinister forest.
Viewers question whether the curiosity - the drives - they feel to discover the editorial piece are greater than the anguish that entering this enigmatic and dark universe generates in them.
