Erizo is a sculpture inspired by a sea urchin. After abstracting its predominant forms, a motif was created and applied on the sides of an icosahedron with help of a parametric 3D modeling system called Grasshopper. Then the volume was taken to a 2D plane to be able to cut the shapes in laser and assemble them in an analog sculpture made out of acrylic and resin.
